All volumes of the bookseries Esperiana are hardback and have a size of 24.5 x 18 cm. Esperiana is intended for both professional and amateur entomologists. Starting with the first volume in the year 1990 12 volumes of the orange series and 2 volumes of the blue Memoir series have been published up to 2006.

Esperiana sets priority on Lepidoptera and especially Noctuidae, but papers on further orders of insects are wellcome as well.
